Hi i reside in texas,and three days ago i received a phone call from pristine financial group1800 n. bristol street, #c-477 santa ana, california 92706ph. 888.753.3849 – fax 714-597-7538they said i owed money from an account opened up in 2007. he says i had to pay that day or they were going to sue me. i didnt have the money to pay so they said i could do payments. they never sent me anything. sopposely he says in august they sent me a certified letter and it got returned to them if i still lived in the same place. i asked for papers of what i owe and he just sent me an email with a settlement. i originally owed 499 and their settlement is for 1248! my account has been sold to like 3 or more collection parties i am wondering if they can actually sue me. without me even receiving any proof they are authorized to receive money from me. what should i do? ive heard online that this company is a scam but i just want to be sure.
It would seem that your only viable solution is yourselves. get second jobs, all in the family need to work and contribute to the family goos, live less extravagantly.
